From the South: Follow the A1 Northbound. Ten miles North of Morpeth, the single carriageway turns into a dual carriageway. Take the first right-hand turn off the dual carriageway signposted to Amble and Felton onto the B6345. Then, take the first left-hand turn down a non-through road (just before the glass bus stop), signposted to Acton and Old Felton. Follow the road for about 350 yards, as the road bears to the right, turn left onto the site. You will find parking at the end of the drive, about 40 yards away.

From the North: Head South down the A1. Turn left off the dual carriageway onto the B6345 signposted to Amble and Felton. Then, take the first left-hand turn down a non-through road (just before the glass bus stop), signposted to Acton and Old Felton and follow as above.

By Transport

The nearest train station, Alnmouth, is fifteen minutes away by car. This stop is on the East Coast Main Line, meaning both Newcastle (30 minutes away) and Edinburgh (1 hour away) are easily accessible and London is less than four hours away.

You can walk to a bus stop from the site in five minutes (350 yards away). The X15 Arriva bus, which travels between Berwick and Newcastle, services this stop hourly.

Local Amenities

There is a small convenience store in Felton called Hillrise, which sells a good range of items and also has a Post Office. Alnwick is ten minutes drive away, where you will find bakeries, butchers, cheesemongers and fishmongers. There are also a number of supermarkets including M&S, Sainsbury’s, Morrison’s, Aldi and Lidl.
